The charm’s wound up. Ancient Scotland is bridged with the contemporary world in a brand-new production of Macbeth, set in a media-rich, audio-visual landscape.

Using live video projection, technology will intersect the plot and characters, as Macbeth’s bloodthirsty campaign rages towards its end.

Watching, documenting and interfering with the medieval world, the Weird Sisters hold the fate of the play in their hands, and not just with their prophecies. It’s Shakespeare’s original language within an innovative and immersive framework that urgently asks why this play, and why now?
